Whether you are a seasoned knitter or crochet enthusiast, or a beginner in embroidery or mending, you will find a supportive place of connection here at Moth & Wren.

Whether its knitting, crochet, embroidery, needlepoint, mending, block printing, watercolor, or something else, Moth & Wren is YOUR space. Stop in to shop, attend a workshop in our classroom space, or sit and stitch on our couches. We welcome all arts, all skill levels, and all people!
About the Studio
Moth & Wren Handwork Studio started as an idea simmering on the back burner, set to manifest at some point in the future. When the stars started aligning to make this space a reality, we took a leap of faith and went for it!
Centered on a shared love of handcraft and making, the main purpose of the studio is connect our community with people, materials, tools, and skills to pursue all manner of craft. The retail shop and classroom space is ready to evolve with the interests and abilities of the makers in our community; head over and let us know what you’d like to see in our space!
About the Owner
Shannon has been crafting since childhood, and she inherited many skills from relatives and friends over the years. Moth & Wren is a chance for her to help spread the love for all the crafts she has mastered, as well as a way for her to learn something new from the members of our community!
Shannon is passionate about community; in her job as an elementary educator, her role as a mother, her work as a selectman here in Manchester, and in many more ways, she values listening and connection. In each community she has lived, she has had the desire to bring together and connect individuals who love to make things with their hands. The community of makers here in our neighborhood is varied and vast, and Shannon wants to meet everyone!
Classes, Workshops, & Events
We offer a variety of classes and workshops for beginners, skilled experts and everyone in between! Come learn a new craft, perfect a technique, or make and special project.
Visit the Store
Located on Bridge Street between Union and Walnut, we are just blocks from downtown Manchester. With free street parking and a beautiful tearoom/cafe next door, our cozy little neighborhood is the perfect place to come relax and work on your crafts.
The shop is open during weekend hours as well as any time there is an event or class happening (usually at least one evening per week).
Saturdays and Sundays 10am—4pm
(also open by chance and appointment)
